Top High Paying Keywords including global search volume

By

Keywords or Key phrases are the lifeblood of advertisers as well as content providers. Many advertisers will pay a high cost per click to capture the attention of potential clients and customers based on what they are searching.

Content providers (bloggers, website owners, hubpage writers, etc.) who want an opportunity to receive a portion of these advertising revenues, will place ads next to their content. When a reader clicks on an ad, google gets a cut and the website gets a cut. Website owners and webmasters who take the time to provide relevant content can make significant profits.

The following list can help content providers determine what textual information (blog post, article, opinion) they should focus on for the highest potential rate of return - these numbers were captured using June 2009 searches on Google:

Keyword
CPC
Volume
Mesothelioma
$23.65
450,000
Structured settlement
$21.05
90,500
Private Jets
$20.59
1,220,000
Car Insurance
$14.82
16,600,000
Equity Loans
$14.63
5,000,000
Debt
$13.77
11,100,000
Life Insurance
$13.45
5,000,000
Asbestos
$13.42
1,000,000
Credit Card
$11.86
13,600,000

These figures are averages, but they do represent the top three advertising positions on a search page. The competition between advertisers for these words is quite high so cpc (cost per click - to the advertiser) is high as well.

These high amounts drive up competition between content providers, too. Landing a number one spot on any one of these searches could lead to revenues totally thousands of dollars. Webmasters and bloggers who use various SEO strategies have a better chance of capturing some of the advertising revenue streams.

The figures will not be the actual revenue per click that the provider will receive. First, site will have to share with Google who will automatically take out its portion before the remaining amount will be placed in the Adsense account. For those using sites such as Hubpages which share revenues with the Hubber, will take out its share as well. These considerations (along with many others) need to be evaluated before a writer decides to create content focusing on a targeted keyword.
